Since THE DINNER GAME we’ve been waiting for director Francis Veber to come up with a film as hilariously inventive as TAIS TOI. France’s favourite dramatic actor (Gerard Depardieu) becomes the perfectly inept hero(!) as the blundering bank robber who finds himself behind bars before teaming up with a perfect partner (Jean Reno) to pull off his most addle-brained scheme so far! Just when you thought films from Wales had cornered the unexpected delights of movie-going, along comes the most completely satisfying laugh hit since we-can’t-remember-when.
