Jean-Jacques Annaud is such an experienced hand at turning animals into scene-stealing stars that, up against two lovable tiger cubs, Guy Pearce must have known from the outset that there was no chance of his being the star of this fabulous film! He will have to be content with being a gracious actor lending strength and integrity. What more can be said?… beyond mentioning the amazing photography. A film for adults that children will be unable to resist.
